There are flea markets a-plenty in Seoul, but Gwangjang Flea Market is renowned for being one of the best in the City. Today we braved the cold, and went on a pilgrimage through the freezing cold streets to North Seoul, to buy jumpers and cardigans.
There is so much to choose from, and everybody is guaranteed to find a bargain.
I picked up three jumpers for 36,000won in total, all of which are good quality and very cool one-of-a-kind pieces. Don’t forget to barter the prices down, I got a couple of my jumpers down by a few won – winner!
I took some pictures as we were venturing around the maze of stalls, jumpers, shoes, ties, hats, handbags, coats, jeans and the rails and rails of endless clothes.
How to get there:
Either take a taxi, or get the subway to Euljiro-4-ga subway stop, take exit 4 and then walk straight for about 5 minutes. The entrance to the market is on the right. Discovering Korea has a useful Google map you can refer to.
