In music news, we reviewed last weekend’s intense Grimes gig and interviewed Shinae An Wheeler, a jazz singer with the most incredible voice. More to come!

Gangnam Art District Project

Current resident artists at Platoon Kunsthalle, Jiwoon Yong and Gustavo Malucelli have formulated “a new type of community art project to re-develop a local economy through various art projects in Gangnam.” Basically, the area around the venue will be covered in different types of art – from painting to photography to sculptures. This creation of an ‘art district tour’ differs from average street art since alternative artistic mediums are being moulded to fit certain stores, sites and buildings. Friday is the launch of the exciting project so there will be a party at Platoon.
