It’s Christmas this week.  Or so we’ve heard. We’re sure you’ve already planned your full Xmas schedule, but here are a few more events that you might wanna squeeze in between drinking enough eggnog to drown a turkey.

Apollo 18 gig at Evans Lounge – Friday

We’ve chosen to write about this event this week because we recently interviewed the brilliant Apollo 18 and reckon everyone should go see them live.  Also, they’re playing at a new gig venue in Hongdae called Evans Lounge, which should be worth checking out.  Smacksoft, 99 Anger, Juck Juck Grunzie and Jambinai are also playing, doors open at 8pm and tickets are 20,000 won.  Full details are .

Phil Drummond (Ministry of Sound) at Club Ellui – Saturday

Brit Phil Drummond from the famed London nightclub Ministry of Sound is at Club Ellui in Gangnam this Saturday night.  If you like commercial house music, you’ll love this.  Entry is 30,000 and you get one free drink.  Doors open from 10pm, meaning you can count down to Christmas while dancing furiously to some banging tunes.

Drop the Bells at Mansion – Sunday

are hosting a Christmas Day twist on their regular Drop the Bass night, to be held at Club Mansion in Hongdae this Sunday.  Touted as an Electro/ Dubstep/ Drum & Bass/ Techno party, this will definitely be an alternative way to spend the 25th of December.  Doors open at 9pm and the DJ line-up is .

Help Your Seoul – Sunday

Since it’s the time of year for giving, we thought we’d include an option to go help those less fortunate than yourselves.  There’s a meet-up scheduled for 7pm on Christmas Day to give out bread, fruit and soy milk to the homeless around Seoul Station.  If you are willing to 100% commit to helping out then click attending on the and go along to spread some holiday love.
