Last year we were lucky enough to catch Super Sketch at Theatre Zero in Hongdae, where we took some photography of the combination of live art and music that makes this night so special.

This year Super Sketch is being held on Saturday the 25th of February at Platoon Kunsthalle in Gangnam, with the same concept of experimental arts (seen in real time through overhead projectors) being paired cohesively with performances from various musicians.  At this Super Sketch there will also be exclusive holographic images on display, giving an extra edge to what is an unusual and alternative event in Seoul’s nightlife calendar.

Artists taking part include a balance of native and expat artists such as SSEO, Jazoo Yang and Patty Hogan, while the musical side of the evening will feature chilled vibes from Maundrie Fox and indie-tinged sounds by .  Artist and musician Lionel Williams (who supported Toro Y Moi on their recent Korean tour) will be showing and selling his holographic art at the art market; a selection of stalls which will also feature items from Casper Kang and Art + Seoul.

Super Sketch begins this Saturday at 8pm. Pre-sale tickets cost 16,000 won while tickets on the door cost 20,000, including 5,000 won worth of art market credit.
