This short film about September in South Korea may be the first one budding filmmaker Mike Beech has made, but with its compelling cinematography, sophisticated editing and well-matching soundtrack, it hopefully won’t be the last.
There is such an emphasis on friendship and relationships throughout the film that a real sense of compassion and warmth envelops you from the screen. It serves as a reminder that the places we’ve been and the experiences we’ve had will always stay in our memories, but that they would mean nothing without the people that we’ve met along the way.
