It is more than half way through January already. Before you know it, it will be summer, hooraah! Apparently according to some statistics I read online somewhere, this is meant to be one of the most depressing weeks of the year. Now, I don’t have the facts to back this up but I have a feeling it’s true. It’s cold, and my body feels like it has been on spin cycle in a Korean washing machine after dancing for 9 hours at SEMF last Saturday.

However, as always, come Friday it is time to bounce back. It’s the first long weekend of the year, Lunar New Year. It’s going to be a long and amazing weekend, I just know it it. Here are some ideas of what you can do this Lunar New Year.

Soundholicity is a club in Hongdae and this weekend they have Purple Tree, New Me and Riot Kidz playing live. It is a great venue in Hongdae, and would be a great low-key start to the big weekend ahead.

Time: 7:00pm. Admission: 10,000 won.

For more information visit the Soundholicity website.

No Entry Fee and it’s on every week.
