The Creators Project in Seoul is creeping up on us again. The innovative event, which is replicated internationally in cities all over the world, will storm Dongdaemun Design Park & Plaza this weekend, from Saturday, September 22nd to Sunday, September 23rd. We were at last year’s Project and can testify that as a vibrant party exhibiting creativity and technology-led artwork, this is one of the best alternative ongoings on the yearly events calendar in Korea. The 2012 edition will feature Saturday night performances from elite Korean musicians such as electro trio Idiotape, rap megalith Drunken Tiger, fun K-pop stars 2NE1 and shoegaze indie band , along with several others.

Interactive installations also add to the charm of The Creators Project takeover. With entertainment for your eyes, hands and feet, as well as your ears, this isn’t just a concert; it’s a fully-fledged spectacle.

Art-wise, Chris Milk‘s The Treachery of Sanctuary, Yang Yongliang’s The Day of Perpetual Night, and Everyware’s new work Levitate will be on show all weekend. Also, through Intel Labs and Social Print Studio, you can get involved in the #Creators Live installation. Tag your photos with #Creators on Instagram and see them magically appear on screen at the event, to interact with using gestures.

Here are some Chincha photos from last year.

RSVP to the event to receive free entry.
