We don’t know about you guys but we are still exhausted. No matter how much sleep we get or how much rice we eat our bodies cannot sustain any energy. Halloween weekend vacuumed the life out of us. It is only Wednesday though, so we have two more days to reboot. This week we have included a variety of things you can do depending on your state of mind or body.

This is an event held at popular venue the Laughing Tree Lab to celebrate the creativity of women based here in Korea. The event will highlight work from artists, musicians, writers and performance artists, all from Korean and international communities. Go along to experience something different, fun and majestic. Multi presents Dirtyloud (Brazil) hosted By Chris Stewart – Saturday

One of the hottest new electronic acts to emerge in 2010 is here in Korea. Dirtyloud’s sound is a mix of Brazilian electro, dubstep and bass music and is totally fresh. They proudly sat at the no.1 spot on Beatport’s dubstep charts for up to 7 weeks and are hugely popular in Brazil and have been successful on their globetrotting visits. This event held at the modern and swanky Club is sure to be another amazing night of dancing and sweating to your heart’s content. For details on how to get onto guestlist and more visit the events

Bling and Platoon Night Flea Market – Saturday

The notorious monthly flea market returns this Saturday at Platoon in Gangnam. Expect DJs, designer vintage, and a 1000w charity auction. Here’s an article we posted about a previous flea market, with pictures to give you a taste of what goes on.

Hongdae Gigs – All Week

There are about a thousand gigs on in Hongdae, as usual. On Saturday Yellow Monsters and The KOXX are on at V Hall while Wagwak are on at Club FF. One of our favourites On Sparrow Hills is also playing at Gogos2, along with Used Cassettes (click for more details). For further details on live music this weekend check out Korea Gig Guide for full listings on live bands.

Hear To Disco Here To Wave: Loft Party – Saturday

Hear To Disco Here To Wave and Discowave are independent party labels throwing a joint event this Saturday. Their aim is to recognise and value the fresh dance scene that’s here in Korea. It will be a cool party (with a fair few hipsters) at a funky little venue (NO association with the Loft in Itaewon) which has rustic, vintage style furniture and a laid back feel similar to someone’s living room. Here is the bit that we know will make you go: free jungle juice and food at the bar. Chincha!

For more details on the party visit the event .

Keep checking back, we may add more stuff. If you have any more events you think we should be talking about, let us know on .
