Now that it’s almost baby Jesus’ birthday, we can finally start throwing some New Year’s Eve options around.  The biggest party on our radar at the moment is , the one-day pop-up festival which UV is headlining (a surprise highlight of ours at Jisan, back when we could feel our toes).

There are also plenty of other acts worth seeing.  Breakbot and So Me of Ed Banger Records (home of Justice and Daft Punk) will be performing, along with other electro acts Housse de Racket of Kitsune and 80kidz.  DJ Silent (who played at the French Horn Rebellion show at the Rolling Hall), Sonyeon, Taz, Cho!ong, Qloro and Xanexx (from Xanexx music) are also going to be spinning records throughout the night.

The entire line-up so far is neatly condensed into this video, which includes cool footage of the balloon and glitter storm that kicked off 2011.

Presale tickets are now available for 77,000 won from Interpark, which is 20% off the door price of 99,000 on the night.  More acts are going to be added, which you can keep posted on by liking Countdown Seoul on Facebook.

Countdown Seoul will be held at Times Square (by KyungBang) in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul from 7pm on the 31 December 2011.

UPDATE: Countdown Seoul are currently running a Facebook competition until the 15th December where if you become a fan of their page, like the contest and share it on your wall, you could be one of three winners to be selected to receive a CD set of 9 albums from Housse de Racket, 80KIDZ, 3rd Line Butterfly, Autumn Vacation, Mongoose, The Freaks, One Punch, Summer Here Kids, Goonamguayeoridingstella.  All of them will be signed by the artists except Housse de Racket and 80KIDZ.
