According to their website, ethereal Scandinavian post-rock band Sigur Rós are coming to Seoul. Tickets are slated to be released on the 29th of January 2013 and the gig itself will be on May 19th at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
Nils Clauss, a filmmaker who lives and works in Seoul, created this excellent music video Urban Island for Sigur Rós’ song ‘Varud’ around 4 months ago. Engaging viewers on a deeper level than your average music video, this piece highlights the plight of a homeless man who lives around the Yongsan Station area – a regular haunt of many of Seoul’s down and out.
