Sean Jones is an expat living in South Korea who has spent the last four months in hospital with a rare medical condition, having accumulated enormous medical bills in the process. His family need to raise $50,000 in order to get him home.

Thankfully, a lot of dedicated members of the expat community in Seoul (and beyond) have managed to raise a whopping $45,000, but one last push is needed for the final $5,000.

That’s where this Saturday night comes in. A fundraiser for Sean is happening at Southside Parlor from 6pm. Entry is free but a suggested donation of 5,000 won is recommended. There’ll be entertainment from Eshe and her Belly Dancing Ladies, M!LK, B-boying, stand-up comedy and DJ Mykian, plus the Southern Sons bartenders are offering a drinks special in which all proceeds will go to Sean.

and head down to Southside Parlor this weekend to help raise the final 10% needed to get Sean released from the hospital and on his way home to the States to be with his family.
