Christmas is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited. There are lots of beautiful little gifts you can buy in Korea for your distant loved ones or even the new friends you have made in Korea. We have found some cute little gift cards and gifts that you can purchase, whilst contributing to a great cause.

The charity UNICEF have joined forces with Groupon (a group discount site) to provide you with some gift ideas. UNICEF’s mision is to provide healthcare and emergency food for children all over the world. Click here, and scroll down to check out the gift ideas and prices.  We personally like the little wooden tree ornaments!

According to UNICEF:

“If you buy one card,  you can provide a meal in the emergency children’s aid area. If you buy one toy, you can provide a measles vaccination injection for 133 children. If you buy one hat, you can feed 13 children with high protein meals. If you buy a t-shirt, you can provide medicine to a child suffering from Cholera.”

You can book direct through the Korean Groupon website.  If you can’t speak Korean and don’t have a Korean friend who can help you, we can provide assistance with booking.  Just contact Miseon Kim at .

For more gift ideas, see here. The offer only lasts until late Friday, so get your orders in quick and make a big difference to someone, somewhere in the world. Unlike other charities, 100% of the purchase price goes directly to UNICEF. Pretty amazing we say.
