Korean sculptor Lila Jang specialises in creating unusual 18th-century-influenced, French-style furniture. After studying a BFA in Sculpture at Hongik University in Seoul, Jang continued solidifying her designs in Paris, where she began gaining international recognition for their quixotic beauty. Jang “makes a practice of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary,” according to Lux Art Institute, and was “inspired by the limitations of a small apartment” when she constructed these amazing, Alice-in-Wonderland-esque objects.
