Trout Fishing Festivals all over Korea

It’s relatively quiet in Korea right now since it’s post-New Year, so this might be a good weekend to embrace nature and go trout fishing in Korea’s back and beyond. Find out about Korea’s antidote to the drudgery of winter over on Visit Korea. You can also cheer yourself up with our ten reasons to stay positive during the cold or motivate yourself to get out and about with this winter in Korea photoessay.

Gapyeong Light Festival

Another way to beat the winter blues is to head to Gapyeong for a sparkling light festival at the botanical garden there. The entire space gets obscured in fairy lights and looks really beautiful. Read all about it in my article over on 10 Magazine.

High Contrast in Seoul

Drum n bass star High Contrast is hitting Seoul this Saturday night for what is most definitely the biggest event this week. Make sure you save 10,000 won by reserving tickets through Interpark.

Happy Slick New Year

There’s an extra NYE party happening this weekend for those of you not ready to let the celebrations finish yet. Electro, techno and psytrance DJs will come from the crew at Double Eight in Sinsa for 20,000 won entry. See the poster over on Party Luv.
